The Talich Quartet --- Petr Messiereur, first violin; Vladimir Bukac, second violin; Jan Talich, viola; and Evzen Rattay, cello --- is particularly noted for its interpretations of the great Czech composers and has recorded many of their works on the Calliope label. Their numerous other recordings include the complete string quartets of Mozart and Beethoven.

The concert will be presented in the Auditorium of the APS Conference Center (Bldg. 402) at Argonne. The concert is open to the public; no special permit is required to enter the laboratory site. A reception will follow the performance.

Tickets ($15) can be ordered by mail. Send your order, with a check payable to Argonne National Laboratory, to Arts at Argonne, Bldg. 201/R-202, Argonne, IL 60439.
