EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

B.S., Meteorology, 1985, Beijing University, China
M.S., Climatology, 1988, Academic Institute of Meteorology, National Meteorological Bureau, China
Ph.D., Climatology, 1995, University of Delaware, Newark, DE

CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Simulation of dynamic interactions between the land surface and the atmosphere under various scenarios produced by regional and global models, to improve understanding of the impacts of potential climate change. Examination of the watershed water balances involving precipitation, evapotranspiration, and runoff.
