The Hot Fuel Examination Facility/North at Argonne-West

The main cell at Argonne-West's Hot Fuel Examination Facility/North was filled with argon gas for the first time, and the first irradiated fuel was brought into the facility on June 28, 1972. The first irradiated fuel underwent examination on June 30. Official dedication ceremonies were held on July 5.
