Charley Yu has over 25 years experience in radiological dose and risk assessment. He developed the RESRAD family of dose and risk assessment codes for the evaluation of radionuclides and chemical contaminants in the environment. These codes have been widely used in more than 60 countries in the world.

The RESRAD code is the industry standard for the derivation of cleanup criteria for radiologically contaminated sites. Dr. Yu also managed the RDD Operational Guidelines Project and worked with multi-agencies and FRMAC people in comparison of methodologies and approaches.
