- Chemical Sciences and Engineering

Jason R. Croy is a materials scientist in the Electrochemical Energy Storage Department of the Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory.

His work focuses on the synthesis of novel cathode materials for lithium ion batteries as well as advanced characterization utilizing synchrotron radiation to elucidate atomic-scale, structure-property relationships in complex materials.

He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Central Florida in 2010, studying the catalytic, vibrational, and electronic properties of mono and bimetallic nanoparticle systems.
