John Hryn

Dr. John N. Hryn is a process development engineer in the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory. He is an expert in aluminum and magnesium processing and recycling, as well as electrodialysis processing.

Dr. Hryn has spent the majority of his career with Argonne, where his research has focused on energy-efficient and environmentally-sound aluminum and magnesium processing and recycling technology development.  He has over 50 publications, holds 6 US patents, and has received numerous awards related to his research.

Currently, Dr. Hryn is developing energy-efficient manufacturing and nano-manufacturing initiatives.
