Joseph Bernstein

Joseph Bernstein began his Argonne tenure as an Engineering Assistant in September, 2007, and became a Postdoctoral Appointee in March, 2008. He was a Computational Postdoctoral Fellow between February, 2010, and February, 2012. Bernstein has research expertise in supernova science, computational hydrodynamics, and X-ray data analysis. He has applied his background in computational hydrodynamics to the cosmology simulation effort at Argonne. In addition, Bernstein is the founder of the "Talk to Joe the Astronomer" workforce development program.

He is currently the communications lead for Physical Sciences and Engineering at Argonne.
