• Argonne Alert System: Employees and other site occupants receive time-sensitive and other emergency announcements as soon as possible via a phone call, e-mail, or text message from the alert system. Please verify that your contact information is correct so that you may receive these notifications by logging into MyArgonne (accessible onsite or via VPN) and clicking on "Contact Information" in the left column.

Remote Access

• Use VPN to access Argonne resources
• Connect to your work computer by using Windows Remote Desktop
• Remote Access CD: For employees who do not regularly work from home, CIS has a CD that can be used to boot a remote computer into a user-friendly desktop environment that has a preconfigured VPN client and remote desktop client. The CD provides a simple mechanism and instructions to allow you to remotely work on your work computer while away from the office. A copy of the Remote Access CD can be obtained by contacting the CIS Service Desk at 630-252-9999, option 2 or help@anl.gov.
