Abstract:
This workshop is intended to provide postdoctoral researchers with the fundamental elements of a CV and resume, the difference between the two, when to use a CV and when to use a resume and how to convert a CV into a resume.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Mike Tessel earned his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Northwestern University. Following a postdoctoral research appintment at the UIC College of Medicine, he became the Assistant Director of Graduate Student Preparation at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Tessel leads career based advising and programming for scientists in training, serves as the primary liaison to Division of Biological Sciences and Institute for Molecular Engineering, and advises students and postdocs on career planning in personalized counseling sessions.
