Homeowners can earn $1,750 rebate on energy efficiency improvements

Eric Keeley of Energy Impact Illinois will detail how Illinois residents can save money by making energy efficiency improvements to their homes Tuesday, Jan. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Building 213 Cafeteria, Private Dining Rooms A and B.

Energy Impact Illinois provides rebates to help homeowners lower their energy bills, improve the comfort of their homes and enhance their homes’ value.

For a limited time, homeowners can save 70 percent — up to $1,750 — off the most cost-effective and permanent energy efficiency improvements: air sealing and insulating.

Energy Impact Illinois is funded by the Department of Energy and the America Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
