The Argonne Research Library will host LexisNexis Thu., Nov. 21, in Building 212, Room A157.

LexisNexis is a leading provider of business and legal information sources. The firm will be offering four workshops as part of their visit to Argonne. The workshops will be taught by LexisNexis staff and will focus on patent research and the LexisNexis database of business, legal and news sources.

The workshops are free, no registration is required and they are open to all interested Argonne employees.

Access to Lexis/Nexis products is available under the terms of a Department of Energy Enterprise License Agreement with LexisNexis. As part of that agreement, individual subscribers have access to a variety of legal, legislative and business news sources and public records.

Subscriptions also include the Matthew Bender Patent database, Court Filings, SmartLinx, Patent Optimizer and Dossier (Dossier covers over 100 million public and private companies, 63 million executives and more than 1000 U.S. industries).
