Abstract:
In the quest for ever improving economy and reduction of pollutants, new engine technologies and combustion systems are being explored. Low Temperature Combustion has shown promise in delivering diesel-like (or better) efficiency while reducing diesel emissions 50-90%; all while retaining diesel power density. This presentation provides an overview of these technologies and approaches.
