Building 401, Room A1100

ORCID is a nonprofit helping to create a world in which all who participate in research, scholarship, and innovation are uniquely identified and connected to their contributions and affiliations, across disciplines, borders, and time. ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognized. This tool is currently used by 640 organizations around the globe, including professional societies, publication houses, government agencies, universities, and national laboratories.

Speakers include:

  • "SC User Facilities Engagement in ORCID," Mariam Elsayed  (Program Analyst, Office of Deputy Director for Science Programs, Office of Science)
  • "ORCID 101," Laurel Haak  (Executive Director, ORCID)
  • "Using ORCID for PANDA,"  Yvette Woell (Manager, Argonne Research Library)
  • "Using ORCID in the Training World," Jeff Ullian (Argonne Training & Safety Information Manager)

Anyone interested in learning more about ORCID and how it can be used is welcome to attend this meeting.
