Abstract:
In this talk I will review microscopic mechanisms of decoherence in superconducting nanocircuits. In particular, I will discuss the origin of low frequency flux noise due to paramagnetic spins located at the Superconductor Insulator interfaces and the origin of low and high frequency charge noise caused by the presence of Two Level Systems (TLS) located at the interface oxide surfaces.
