Building 213 (Cafeteria)

Mentors are wanted by Friday, April 10

The Science Careers in Search of Women (SCSW) Conference at Argonne, takes place Thursday, April 16, 2015, and provides female high school students an extraordinary opportunity to explore STEM careers though a variety of interactions with Argonne’s world-class researchers and mission-support employees.

The SCSW Student Luncheon takes place from 12:45 - 1:30 p.m. in the Bistro 213 Cafeteria, and connects Argonne professionals with small groups of four to six students who have been selected by their schools for their interest in STEM.

The luncheon is a unique forum where students can ask questions and employees can share their career experiences in a relaxed social setting. With over 300 students, the success of the Luncheon depends critically on the volunteers who generously share their time to engage with these students.

Please consider joining us for lunch

To sign on, complete the SCSW luncheon volunteer form by Friday, April 10, 2015. This is a great chance to inspire young women to pursue STEM careers. You can learn more about the conference on the SCSW web page.
