Abstract:
Understanding the backgrounds and signals of Higgs physics is important for our understanding of electroweak sector. The pair production of W+W- is an important background to H->W+W-, and recently has been reported to deviate from the SM NLO prediction. Also, Higgs production in association with a vector boson is important to measure H->bb decay and the HVV coupling. I investigate higher order QCD corrections to W+W- pair production and Higgs associated production by performing the soft gluon resummation.
