The Women in Science and Technology (WIST) Program will host the First Friday Forum on Thursday, March 13, 2014, noon to 1 p.m. in Building 240, Room 1407.

The focus of the forum will cover discussion of the highlights from the 2014 Career Development and Leadership Retreat. The Chicago Collaboration for Women in STEM 2014 Career Development and Leadership Retreat was held February 20-21, 2014, and was sponsored by the Office of the Provost at The University of Chicago and Northwestern University.

All employees are invited to join the Argonne attendees in a lively and interactive panel discussion focusing on the information, skills and strategies learned from experts who presented on these career development and leadership topics at the Retreat.

Argonne's WIST Program Office was created in 1990 to recruit, retain and promote women in an effort to diversify and strengthen the laboratory's scientific workforce. The program aims to promote the success of women in scientific and technical positions at Argonne and outside as well. Through WIST, the laboratory strives to encourage and develop the full potential of women in science and technology.
