The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics presents a "Workshop on Nanophotonics" Monday, Dec. 3, through, Friday, Dec. 7 in Trieste, Italy.
Argonne Laboratory Director Eric D. Isaacs and and Daniel Lopez (CNM) are among the organizers of the workshop.
This workshop will describe the fundamentals, recent advances and applications of nanophotonics. It is being organized to encourage interaction among participants from all countries and at all levels. It will provide a unique opportunity to advance knowledge and understanding in the area of interaction of light with subwavelength-size objects.
The workshop is co-sponsored by Argonne and the National Science Foundation.
