Basic Purpose |

Assist in the identification and evaluation of chemical interactions between gas streams and rock formations at elevated temperatures and pressures, and translate into mathematical models that will advance the state of the art. |

Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
| |
Considerable Considerable knowledge of the chemistry of rock formations encountered in geothermal applications.
Considerable knowledge of gas transport through fractured rocks.
|
| |
Good Good skills and experience in laboratory work, including wet chemistry and thermal processing lab testing.
Good skills in oral and written communications. |
| |
Other These levels of knowledge and skill are typically obtained through a recent PhD in geology or a related field. |
