Basic Purpose |
| |
Development and characterization of materials and devices for solar energy utilization by conceiving and executing experimental research projects and reporting the results. |

Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
| |
Considerable
Expertise in the fabrication and characterization of photovoltaic, optoelectronic, or related devices.
Knowledge of and skill in the use of optical techniques for the characterization of materials preferred.
Considerable skill in research facilities and techniques needed for Argonne programs, understanding scientific concepts and synthesizing results, written and oral communication, good skill interacting with colleagues.
Must have demonstrated outstanding promise as a research scientist.
Also required are demonstrated motivation, energy, and ability to originate, carry out, and publish significant original research. |
