Basic Purpose |
| |
Candidate will work with system software researchers in the ALCF and MCS divisions on programming and run-time infrastructure issues related to Argonne`s new "cloud" computing environment specifically adapted for scientific computing. A specific research area wil be selected from among programming models, communication libraries, operating systems, I/O and file system issues, and high-level programming approaches appropriate for attacking large scale scientific problems on reconfigurable clusters. |
