Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
| |
Considerable Considerable background in oxide MBE or PLD and experimental magnetic film basic research, including magneto-transport or magneto-optics, magnetic film preparation and processing and/or patterning, use of laboratory magnetic fields, cryogenics, electronic measurement instrumentation, computer data analysis and modeling, structural characterizations, and structure-property relationships. Considerable skill in formulating scientific issues. |

Good Good skill in designing experiments, research facilities, and/or theories to address relevant scientific issues. Good skill in understanding abstract concepts and in synthesizing knowledge. This level of knowledge is typically achieved through a formal education in physics at the Ph.D. level or equivalent in the application of this scientific knowledge through practical experience.
