Personal Statement/Research Interests

I received a PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology from Politecnico di Milano (Italy). The main topics of my PhD research were the dynamics simulation and the control systems design for Gen-IV Reactors. Currently, I am a postdoctoral appointee.

My research primarily focuses on the evaluation of the impact of active controllers on the safety features of Sodium-cooled Fast Reactors. In addition, I am developing advanced control schemes based on optimal control approach for S-CO2 power plants. I am also interested in the development of ODE-based neutronics model (Reduced Order Model techniques) to be employed in control-oriented simulators.
