About the Symposium

What: The Postdoctoral Research and Career Symposium is an annual event that:

  • Showcases the research of postdoctoral researchers and advanced graduate students
  • Promotes collaboration through networking
  • Enables industry and government leaders to connect with and recruit from the nation’s top scientific and engineering talent

This year’s event features:

  • Keynote Address by Dr. Marius Stan, Argonne National Laboratory
  • Postdoc research poster presentations
  • Career-themed programming
  • Networking with company representatives

Presenter/Attendee Information - For Postdocs and Graduate Students

You may register as an attendee only or sign up to give a poster presentation.

The Symposium seeks abstracts for poster presentations that are aligned with Argonne's goal of addressing vital national challenges in clean energy, environment, technology and national security through multidisciplinary science and engineering.

Abstracts are to be submitted at the time of registration.  Please review the abstract instructions to ensure proper formatting. For more information, please submit inquiries to postdoc-symposium@anl.gov.

Resume Submission

A resume file will be compiled for distribution to industry exhibitors and sponsors. If you would like your resumé included, please fill out the resume template and e-mail it to postdoc-symposium@anl.gov with the subject line "resume_yourname".

We have openings, but cannot attend due to time-constraints. How do we get visibility at the symposium?

Argonne will provide a display with your openings. However, we will need information about the  recruitment lead or hiring managers in charge of those openings.
