The readers of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology have recognized Argonne National Laboratory as a 2014 Best Diversity Company.

Argonne Hispanic Latino Club awards $6K in STEM scholarshipsJune 13, 2014

In June, Argonne National Laboratory’s Hispanic Latino Club (HLC) presented $6,000 in academic scholarships to students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The HLC’s Hispanic in Science Incentive Award is presented annually to two undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in STEM areas of study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The 2014 scholarship award winners are:

Senior Nuclear Engineer and Technical Director Keith Bradley is to be honored with Argonne National Laboratory’s 2014 Outstanding Staff Mentor Award. The award recognizes the efforts of an individual who has demonstrated outstanding mentorship and is a dedicated advocate for advancing and mentoring colleagues from all positions and career tenures.

Bradley will be presented with the award at the UChicago Argonne, LLC Board of Governors’ award ceremony in August 2014. Argonne plans to bestow this award annually.

On June 5, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Chicago Regional Section presented Argonne National Laboratory with its 2014 Golden Family Award. The award recognizes an organization that best supports families in the workplace.
