Green Car of the Year tour focuses on clean diesel at Argonne

CHICAGO—Green Car Journal’s first-ever Green Car of the Year Tour™ is taking the green car’ message on the road to a media-only event this Friday, August 20, at Argonne National Laboratory, located 30 miles outside of Chicago.

Argonne’s Center for Transportation Research will share information about its exciting work involving clean diesel technology and fuels, plus other activities focused on advanced and efficient powertrains. This initial Green Car of the Year Tour™ stop will also offer media the ability to drive some of the most celebrated diesel models in the U.S market. Media drives begin at 8:00 a.m. on August 20 with Argonne presentations at 9:30 a.m. and lab tours to follow. Advance security clearance is required.
