Argonne National Laboratory

CodeGirls@Argonne Camp

CodeGirls@Argonne Camp will bring together rising 7th and 8th grade girls to explore what it takes to think like an Argonne computer scientist – by programming robots! Along the way, participants will connect with other girls and solve fun challenges as a team. You’ll also meet inspiring women Argonne scientists who are using code to solve the big challenges of our world, and learn about the awesome role women have played in developing technology throughout history. No robotics or coding experience required. Free.

At this camp, participants will:

  • Develop their problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Try out thinking like a computer scientist
  • Interact with other girls interested in science and technology
  • Learn from women role models about why computer science is a great career for women!
