Hye Kyung Kim distills cutting edge science to connect the next generation of thinkers to mission science at the national lab. Kim has 10 years of experience conducting scientific research and developing programs in Photon Sciences, Physical Science & Engineering, and Energy & Global Security directorates at Argonne. She is a Science Policy Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., in the National Materials & Manufacturing Board, and Defense Materials Manufacturing & Infrastructure Committee. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Columbia University in the City of New York.
