Accelerating the Discovery of Energy Materials

NST Seminar

Abstract: The Accelerated Materials Design and Discovery (AMDD) program at the Toyota Research Institute (TRI) is working toward a next-generation platform for materials research. Our team is composed of research scientists and software engineers, together with collaborators at national labs and universities. Our projects focus on automated or high-throughput experiments and computations, as well as the development of software and machine learning tools that enable us to fully leverage the diverse datasets being generated. In this talk, I will give an overview of TRI-AMDD and highlight a few projects: MatScholar, synthesizability networks, and chemical convolutional neural networks.
