Becoming Tatyana: A Transgender Woman’s Journey of Self-Discovery
Abstract: What is it that really defines a person’s gender? While most people never think about it, a transgender person’s life is frequently defined by this question. The answers are very personal and frequently the result of a decades-long search. To commemorate Transgender Day of Visibility, Tatyana Moaton will share her story as a trans woman of color. She will discuss her personal journey and talk about the challenges facing the transgender community.
