December 4, 2012 12:00PM to 1:00PM
Building 213 (Cafeteria)
Christopher J. Kramer (DIS) will present "That Was the Worst Presentation I Have Ever Seen!" at the next Argonne Speaker's Bureau Tuesday, Dec. 4, at noon, in the Building 213 Dining Rooms A and B. Light refreshments will be served.

His presentation will discuss what not to do when presenting information at a meeting, conference or convention.

Presentation abstract:
We have all been there – staring with mind-numbing boredom at a tedious speaker droning on in a forgettable blur while they click through incomprehensible and unreadable PowerPoint slides. Don’t be that person! Learn how to effectively present your information at conferences, meetings or conventions in an engaging and informative way.

This session will touch on framing your information to tell a "story," effective body language and key concepts of using a PowerPoint (or other slide programs) to make your presentation interesting, understandable and memorable.
