Dr. Radja Boughezal’s research focuses on the ultra-precise understanding of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), the theory of the strong force, and its role in enabling the search for physics beyond the Standard Model in high-energy experiments.
Karen Byrum is a physicist in the Intensity Frontier group within the HEP Division currently working on the Mu2e project. She spends part of her time as a Program Manager working in Germantown, MD within the Cosmic Frontier on the Dark Matter program.
Tom Cecil is a Detector Engineer specializing in superconducting detectors and electronics with experience including SIS mixers, Hot Electron Bolometers, Kinetic Inductance Detectors, and Transition Edge Sensors.
Clarence’s interests focus on observational cosmology with a particular emphasis on developing new superconducting technology for use in new experiments.
