Katrin Heitmann

Physicist & Computational Scientist

Heitmann received her PhD at the Technical University Dortmund in Germany in 2000. She then joint Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Director’s Postdoctorall Fellow and became a Technical Staff Member in 2004. Heitmann moved to Argonne in 2011. Her research focuses on cosmology and in particular on extreme-scale simulations of the evolution of the Universe. She is a member of several major cosmological surveys.
