Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

Come join Argonne National Laboratory in exploring the world of Engineering and the endless possibilities offered through a career in this exciting field.

Women in Science and Technology, in conjunction with Argonne Education, presents “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day”. This day gives young female students a unique opportunity to discover Engineering careers alongside world-class scientists and engineers.

Participants will be able to enjoy motivational presentations by fellow female engineers and connect with a mentor. Come unlock the doors to your future with “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day”.

This year’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) took place at Argonne National Laboratory on February 17^th. Please watch for updates on registration for next year’s event.

Registration Requirements

All applicants must be in eighth grade and need to complete the online application.
Space for the event is limited and participants will be selected by a lottery system.
All applicants will be notified if their application status via email.
