Biography
Dana Ginnett is the University Programs and Partnership Manager, with the responsibility to oversee the undergraduate and graduate internship programs and develop programming that aligns with Argonne’s scientific initiatives and educational outreach. She manages interns’ recruitment, onboarding, and overall experience at the laboratory, while also coordinating university student summer schools and boot camps, visiting faculty programs, and university partnerships. Her goal is to create an engaging experience that equips students for future STEM success while expanding and strengthening America’s STEM talent pipeline workforce.
Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from Northern Arizona University, as well as a Master of Education degree in College Student Personnel from Loyola University Chicago. She worked at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy as the Senior Director of Student Affairs and Chief Hearing Officer, where she oversaw everything from student engagement to residence life and student conduct. Similarly, she supported students’ residential experience as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Aurora University, giving her invaluable skills and knowledge in enriching students’ educational journeys.
