- Get educated: Visit the Argonne website and familiarize yourself with Argonne's strategic missions, world-class programs, and capabilities.
- Become acquainted with the federal contracting/subcontracting requirements, e.g. Argonne General Provisions, E-Verify (specific to LLNL or does this apply to Argonne?) Buy American Act, various Labor Laws, Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Acts, etc.

- Register your business in the System for Award Management.
- SAM, is the primary vendor database for the Federal Government.
- SAM registration is a requirement to do business with Argonne.
- A UEID number is required to complete the registration.

Register online by submitting your company’s profile information using the Argonne Supplier Information Form.

- Contact the Small Business Program Manager at sblo@anl.gov to discuss potential subcontract opportunities.

- Visit the Argonne Small Business Contracting Office’s website for upcoming subcontract opportunities.
- To explore other subcontract opportunities, visit the Department of Energy’s Acquisition Forecast and SAM.gov.

- Participate in outreach events to market your products or services.
- These events enable small businesses to meet one-on-one with contractors and federal agencies.
