Aaron is interim director of the Materials Manufacturing Innovation Center. In this role, he provides vision and leadership for the center, working with leaders inside and outside Argonne to cultivate partnerships with industry, the Department of Energy, universities, and other stakeholders to advance the frontiers of materials manufacturing and support the nation’s transition to clean energy.
In his previous roles at Argonne, Aaron served as Senior Manager for Initiative Development, Manager for Strategic Planning and Initiatives, and as Business Development Executive. He joined Argonne in 2017 from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked with senior leaders of client organizations to develop and implement strategies for growth, innovation, and efficiency. He earned his Ph.D. in the Institute for Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago. He also holds an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, both in chemical engineering.
