Andrew P. Ulvestad

Assistant Physicist

I am a physicist working in the Synchrotron Radiation Studies group on understanding the connection between atoms and performance of complex systems. I originally started my research in theoretical early universe cosmology at the University of Chicago before transitioning to x-ray studies of battery materials to finish my Ph. D. at UC: San Diego. Since coming to Argonne, I have expanded into electrocatalysis and am exploring topics such as corrosion, dealloying, and dissolution.
