Joint Appointment [C]

Integrated Nanophotonic and Catalytic Technologies

Biography

Dayne Swearer is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Chemical & Biological Engineering at Northwestern University. His research integrates the latest advances in photonics with advances in heterogeneous catalysis to understand the fundamental chemical physics of light-matter interactions and applies those insights to reactions of industrial and societal importance. Prior to joining Northwestern and Argonne, Dayne was an Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Chemical Sciences at Stanford University and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Rice University.
