He assists with the planning and development of summer programs such as the Creative Approaches to Problems in Science (CAPS) High School Computing Workshop and All About Energy. He wants to encourage and inspire students to pursue their interests in science and help them take the next steps toward their passions and future studies and careers.
With the goal of teaching social studies at the high school level, Jonathan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Social Science and Secondary Education. Outside of the internship at Argonne, Jonathan is deeply engaged in theater production and was at one point a member of the Board of Directors for ILLINI Student Musicals.
