Biography

Research Interests

I am interested in studying the chemical physics that drives the reactivity of intermediates present in complex environments such as Earth’s troposphere. To accomplish this, we are developing a broadband UV-Vis time-resolved absorption experiment with multiplexed species detection that will enable kinetics and mechanistic studies of chemical reactions involving these transient species. This work will be complemented by ongoing experimental work at the Advanced Light Source of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as well as theoretical work in the Chemical Dynamics group at Argonne.
