Paul Beckman worked as a software developer at Argonne from June to December 2016, where he contributed to the Array of Things developing APIs and designing relational and key-value databases for sensor network data and metadata. He also was a software developer at the University of Chicago, where he explored the use of statistical learning and natural language processing techniques for searching climate databases. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Chicago in 2019, he joined Argonne and is working with the Foundations of Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Statistics group. Beckman is lead developer of Skluma, a statistical learning pipeline for disorganized data repositories.
