Angie acts as a contract specialist and is well versed in all operations of the Sponsored Research Office, including the processing of Strategic Partnership Projects (SPP), Technical Service Agreements (TSA), and Cooperative Research and Development (CRADA) proposal packages.
Kristen Bylica is the Lead Analyst for the Sponsored Research Office in the Technology Commercialization and Partnerships Division
Kristen acts as a lead contract specialist and subject matter expert in all operations of the Sponsored Research Office, including the processing of Strategic Partnership Projects (SPP), Technical Service Agreements, and Cooperative Research and Development (CRADA) proposal packages. Reviews BAA, FOA and other funding opportunities, determines eligibility, and seeks concurrence from the DOEASO when required.
Kristen has been at Argonne since 2008. Prior to joining Argonne, she held various positions in healthcare and environmental services. She holds a BA in Business Management from DePaul University.
Bill Ingle works predominately with Argonne’s Energy Systems Division, providing support related to collaborations with private industry and other non-Department of Energy organizations, including those that involve licensing/commercialization of Argonne technologies.
Cherlese Kleivo supports various activities within the division’s Sponsored Research Office, including Strategic Partnership Projects, Cooperative Research and Development Agreements, and Technical Service Agreements
Interim Associate Laboratory Director Science & Technology Partnerships and Outreach
Dr. Ushma Kriplani serves as Interim Associate Laboratory Director for the Science & Technology Partnerships and Outreach directorate. Dr. Kriplani joined Argonne in 2015 to work on commercializing laboratory-developed technologies through a variety of avenues. More recently, she has been supporting the Laboratory’s priority science and technology initiatives as well.
Dr. David McCallum serves as New Program Capture Manager in the Technology Commercialization and Partnerships Division. He joined Argonne in 2014 to work on ways of expanding the laboratory’s funding base. McCallum also provides writing and strategy support for Argonne staff members who are involved in proposal preparation.
Rudyard Sadleir joined Argonne in 2018. As a Business Development Executive, he supports the National Security Programs and the Global Security Sciences Division at Argonne, working with researchers in the management and execution of the contracting process with external research sponsors.
