Argonne’s world-class scientists and engineers are often recognized for their outstanding talents and innovative achievements.

Argonne researchers have been recognized by the following organizations:

R&D 100 Awards

Each year, R&D Magazine recognizes the 100 most technologically significant new products of the last year. The competition has two purposes: to recognize innovators and organizations for outstanding practical technical developments, and to identify industrially significant technological advances. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognizes winning an R&D 100 award as a prestigious honor.

Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) Awards

Each year, the FLC, which is comprised of more than 600 federal laboratories and centers, recognizes federal laboratory employees who have done outstanding work in the process of transferring laboratory-developed technology.
