The “Energy Exascale Earth System Model” (E3SM) project has been selected for a 2023 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Innovative and Novel Computation Impact on Theory and Experiment (INCITE) award.
The researchers received 585,000 node-hours of computing time on the Summit supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The project was one of 51 selected competitively based on their potential to advance scientific discovery.
