Advanced Fuel Cycle Cost Basis Report
Informing on nuclear fuel cycle costs: present and future
The Advanced Fuel Cycle Cost Basis Report is a multi-lab ongoing effort to maintain and improve the ability to estimate and inform on the costs of advanced nuclear fuel cycle options by developing the cost basis for the wide array of functions that are performed in the wide range of possible nuclear fuel cycle alternatives. Projects range from improved estimates of the cost of fabricating U/Pu MOX fuel for LWRs to application of the data to compare the difference and sources of those differences for alternative fuel cycles being considered.
