VISION and NEAT are companion tools for the analysis of highway vehicles and freight movement, for all vehicle types, freight modes, and multiple fuel types.
The VISION and NEAT models are companion analytical tools for the top-level analysis of:
- Energy demand,
- Petroleum use, and
- GHG emissions
associated with highway vehicles and freight movement, for all vehicle types, freight modes, and multiple fuel types. Users can run the models for fleet scenarios at the regional or national level through the year 2100. VISION performs analyses for on-road vehicles, and NEAT covers freight modes such as rail, air, domestic marine, and pipelines in addition to trucks.
