Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging on Campus

Argonne offers Electric Vehicle (EV) charging ports across the Lemont campus, enabling anyone with campus access to pay for and conveniently charge their personal EVs.

Argonne’s Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

There are 39 EV charging stations with a total of 68 individual charging ports across Argonne’s campus. You can view the location of the ports on this map.

  • Most of the ports (58) on campus are on the Chargie platform, allowing users to initiate and pay for charging. See the Charging at Chargie Ports” section below for more details.
  • The 10 ports located at Building 240 (TCS Conference Center) are not owned and operated by Argonne, but instead by CBRE. These ports are integrated with the Loop app to start and pay for charging. See the Charging at Loop App Ports” section below for more details.
