Biography
Andreas Wilke received his master’s degree (“diplom”) in computer science from the Universitat Beilefeld, Germany, in 2002.
He then worked as a research assistant there, developing a platform for analyzing high-throughput proteomic data. In 2006 he joined the University of Chicago/Argonne Computation Institute as lead developer for the MG-RAST metagenomics analysis server.
