Anna Servis

Radiochemist

Specializing in smarter separations

Biography

Dr. Anna G. Servis is a radiochemist whose research leverages a fundamental understanding of molecular-scale chemical phenomena and interfacial dynamics to develop applied separations with a focus on nuclear materials. She has used a variety of experimental and computational techniques, including additive manufacturing and continuum modeling, to realize innovative strategies for aqueous separations spanning length scales from microfluidics to pilot scale processing. This includes applications in the nuclear fuel cycle, medical radioisotope production, and nuclear forensic analysis.

Dr. Servis holds a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Colorado School of Mines and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas. She is a staff scientist in the Radiochemistry group at Argonne.
